Eldorado Funk Mixtape

The funkiest mixtape this side of the mississippi. Odd numbered tracks are recorded through a technics sl-1200 turntable, even numbered tracks are recorded through a technics dz-1200 digital turntable. Mixin’ it up is yours truly, the eldorado’s funkiest, the cadillac of cardiac mammalians. First up are Shuggie Otis, the Four Tops, and Issac Hayes. But don’t worry, I’ll tell you about the rest. This is the funk box baby. This is where you want to be. This beats free lunch. So pack a picnic, put the kids to bed and ingest the rhythm within your head. Come awwwwwn.
Tribute to The 5th Beatle…

One of my favorite musicians of all-time is Billy Preston. The essential studio man, he played organ, electic piano, and clavinet on a number of great albums including Bob Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks, The Rolling Stones Exile on Main Street, and The Beatles Let it Be. In fact, he was the only non-Beatle to ever receive song-writing credit for his piano contributions on Get Back.
So if ya don’t know the radical music of Billy Preston, consider yourself warned. The man can lay down some funk. I recommend starting with Billy Preston, Wildest Organ in Town!
